Once you find the low-competition and long-tail keywords, add your keywords in the Keyword Overview tool for more details.

Then create quality content for that keywords. Once you publish that content, keep an eye on keywords’ performance and ranking. If the content is ranked on the search engine, then it’s okay. Otherwise, checkout that why content isn’t ranked yet.

Once you identify your competitors, then start by analyzing their websites, especially identifying those pages that get the highest traffic from search results.

Imagine that some of the backlinks have disappeared, so you have to reclaim them. To reclaim the lost backlinks, firstly you have to identify the lost backlinks.

And you can easily identify these lost backlinks with a few clicks using Semrush’s Backlink Analytics tool.

Click “Backlink Analytics” from the left navigation, insert your domain and then click “Search” to populate backlinks data. Once the results show, switch to the Backlinks tab, scroll down, select the “Lost” and then apply the “Follow” filter.

Finally, you will see the lost backlinks.

In the first step, you have to identify the Toxic backlinks.

Follow the sequence.

Backlink Audit (from the left navigation menu) > Create Project > Set up the project

Once you set up the project, you will see the project in the Backlink Audit tool’s dashboard. Open the project, switch to Audit Tab, there you will see the toxic backlinks in the Audit tab. There you have to move the toxic backlinks to Disavow tab. To move the toxic links to Disavow tab, click the “Delete” button adjacent to the backlinks and then the “To Disavow” button from the drop-down menu.

  Next, go to the “Disavow” tab to create a TXT file for uploading to Google Disavow Tool. Hit the “Export to TXT” button to download the file.

In the final step, you have to upload the TXT file to Google Disavow Tool.  Click here to navigate to Google Disavow Tool, choose the property that you want to disavow backlinks from.
